Hello Jonathan! Good to read your letter, very informative as usual. Maybe a question (or 2): how many vessels with Russian commodities are waiting to cross the Bosphorus and how would the end of the agreement affect grain situation in Russia and its storage issue? Then a comment as to Swiss dairy cows: after the scorched summer pasture, they enjoy a gorgeous fall with an unseen amount of forage/silage being harvested until this moment, possibly a bit longer, replenishing barns and silos.. Looking forward to your comments. Have a great day.

Thanks Marcel for your comments. It is great news that our Indian summer has allows farmers to replenish their fodder stores. As for the grain corridor, I would think it is in the Russians’ interest to cooperate to expedite their own grain exports. Let’s hope for the best. The world needs Russian and Ukrainian grain.
